RoboChair

SRC-1001

RoboChair is an exoskeleton with one degree of freedom (DOF) - the knee. It is designed to provide assistive motion for users with limited mobility in Sit to Stand and Stand to Sit (STS) needs. Standard RoboChair requires a seatbelt for safety. A Reinforcement Learning (RL) accessory, including force sensors on RoboChair legs, is available to monitor unbelted user’s posture. It provides signals for a safe ride, for marginal ride which requires corrective action or stops the STS motion for safety until corrective action is taken or being manually overridden.
